Coming back from a Council meeting just after 6pm tonight there was yet another nasty accident at the notorius Husum Way junction. We need traffic lights here before someone is killed!

Offmore-Comberton PACT Meeting 17-12-07
Yet another well attended PACT meeting. Almost all the issues were Highways orientated.
- Stupid residents who park with all four wheels on the pavement in Somerleyton Avenue
- Speeding in Somerleyton Avenue
- The need for tree pruning so that Somerleyton Avenue street lighting is not obstructed
- Speeding on Borrington Road
- Inconsiderate parking in Shaw Avenue by parents taking children to Offmore First School.
- Inconsiderate teenagers riding motorbikes around the Offmore Estate in a dangerous manner
All these issues will be dealt with by local Councillors and the Police.

Mike Oborski "No Barriers" Awards
On behalf of myself, Mike's Mum,Floss, his brother, Nick and cousin Wojtek; I just want to say how proud and delighted we are that Wyre Forest Council has taken up the idea he had to copy the Polish City of Gdynia with its " No Barriers" Award for organisations, businesses etc. who go the extra mile to help people with any type of disability. This award; The Mike Oborski "No Barriers" Award is a superb living tribute to everything Mike stood for. Particular thanks to the Mayor of Gdynia for allowing us to use their logo!
The family are funding another useful memorial to Mike: a seat in Kidderminster Cemetery!
